Tamworth Police and Fire Chiefs to discuss ‘Home & Fire Safety’ The Tamworth Community Nurse Association will hold the next in its monthly program series entitled, “Get Healthy Tamworth!” on Saturday, Sept. 19, from 10 to 11 a.m. at The Lyceum in Tamworth Village.
Tamworth Police Chief Dan Poirier will present an informative “Home & Fire Safety” program that will cover, among other things, security tips and the latest scams regarding security system purchases. Fire Chief Richard Colcord is scheduled to discuss a common sense approach to fire safety, as well as escape plans within the home. Both Poirier and Colcord will also discuss situational awareness. Any homeowner or renter will not want to miss this program, as it will provide much information that you may not know regarding home and fire safety.
