Join us on Saturday November 28th. 12:30 PM for a moderate loop hike with a stop at a waterfall as the destination. Great Falls, is a 2 mile round trip.
We will take the Bennet Street Trail to Great Falls and return the same way. 2 mile round trip. This is a moderate level hike.
To get there, from Tamworth village 4 corners take a right on Route 113A. Travel for 12.4 miles and turn right on Whiteface Intervale Road. In 100 feet bear left on Bennett Street. Travel it to the end or where the road bears right over a bridge. Continue straight on dirt road which is moderately bumpy. Drive in through gate and park in trail parking on left.

On Saturday November 28, 24 friends hiked to Great Falls on the Bennett Street Trail in North Sandwich, and returned the same way, a 2 mile round trip. It was a day of variety and adventure, with a little rain, spurts of sun reflecting off the landscape, challenging stream crossings and a worthy destination. We stayed together and helped each other out when needed, which was done without thinking about it-- evidence of a cohesive and experienced group. Good job everybody.
