Join us for a saunter on quiet woods roads to the shore of Great Hill Pond and back. Though this hike is easy, some walking agility is needed. Join us on Saturday, October 10th at 12:30 pm. To get there from Tamworth Village, turn on Great Hill Road just after the Barnstormers. Stay on Great Hill Road it for 4.4 miles, bearing left in a little over 2 miles. Just after a small white farmhouse on the left with a white garage, and a green mailbox on the right, turn right uphill and park on the grass. We will be there. It is suggested you bring an extra vest or cloth to sit on moist ground. Leaders Ed Parsons and John Watkins.

On October 10, we took a saunter on woods roads to a very pleasant spot on the shore of Great Hill Pond. It was in the 70's that day, and we lingered more than an hour on the shore, enjoying conversation and the beautiful slanted light of autumn on the water and the foliage.
