Welcome
The
Tamworth Community Nurse Association helps sustain the health and
vitality of Tamworth and its residents. We offer support for the
physical, social and mental health of every citizen by providing free
skilled nursing care and coordination of available services.
TCNA was founded in 1921 to ensure no one in the town of Tamworth would
go without healthcare due to financial difficulties or the lack of
access to the medical system. As an independent, locally
controlled nonprofit organization-- the only one of its kind in New
Hampshire-- we are able to respond with speed and sensitivity to local
conditions and individual needs. We provide a wide range of
nursing-related services to residents of all ages.
We are located in the rear wing of Town Hall and are handicap
accessible. The office is open 9AM to 2 PM Mon-through Thursday and 9AM
to 11AM on Fridays. We offer office visits with a licensed nurse Monday
through Friday 9AM to 11AM or by appointment. We also make home visits
for those unable to come to us.
