Dr. Brian Sponseller to speak in Tamworth on ‘Understanding Addiction’
On Saturday, February 7, the Tamworth Community Nurse Association (TCNA) will offer another of its “Get Healthy Tamworth!” programs, this month entitled, “Understanding Addiction,” from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at The Tamworth Lyceum in Tamworth Village.
Dr. Brian Sponseller, a family practice physician and the Medical Director of Primary Care at Memorial Hospital in North Conway, will present “Understanding Addiction.” Dr. Sponseller has special training and certification in addiction care, including a DEA license to treat addiction. His program will include the recognition, cause and prevention of substance abuse in our community's school-age population.
