Buckets of Sand
Like it or not, it's that time of year again.
Icy steps and walks just outside of the home are a major source of slip and fall injuries.
Sand, conscientiously applied, can help prevent a lot of these injuries. If you live in Tamworth and are unable to get sand yourself, let us know. and we'll bring a bucket around, and keep it filled over the course of the winter.
Tamworth Community Nurse Association staff and volunteers are at the ready. Call or email TCNA at 603-323-8511, tcna@tamworthnurses.org, and we'll get you set up.
And if you are willing and able to help out with this project by delivering sand to a handful of your neighbors, get in touch and we'll incorporate you into our corps of generous volunteers.
