About the event
We will do another fairly easy hike to the top of Page Hill. The half mile trail for this if off Page Hill Road, and reached by parking in the upper parking lot for the Public House. You can meet us there or in the parking lot for the Tamworth Town offices, were we will gather at 1 pm and car pool.
The view from the top of Page Hill and a newly cleared area near the top are good. Page Hill was once a well known ski area. We will see the remains of an old ski lift in the woods on top.
The trail which is an old road, is not flat and has a sustained grade all the way to the summit ledge.
